Fakhr Azam from PK 71, Malik Shah Muhammad from PK72 win

PESHAWAR:-On the other hand, independent candidate from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Malik Shah Muhammad won the seat.
It is worth mentioning that on the direction of Election Commission, polling was re-arranged in four polling stations of PK 71.
 
According to unofficial results, PPP’s candidate Fakhr e Azam Khan got 17,360 votes and succeeded in securing the provincial assembly’s seat.
 
His rival ANP’s candidate Taimor Baz Khan could have 16,219 votes.
 
In the same way, Election Commission arranged re-polling in PK 72 polling station as it had been declared disputed when peoples from rival clans started aerial firing.
 
After re-polling in the aforesaid constituency, independent candidate Malik Shah Muhammad Khan was declared successful with 14,408 votes while JUI-F candidate Syed Hamid Shah got 12,992 votes.
